Seller’s Notes: When I saw this piece at Pottery Barn, I HAD to have it! I truly hadn’t ever seen anything like it and I also am a lover of color. This is the most eye-catching piece of furniture I have ever owned and is also the only piece of furniture that I have received so many compliments on.

This is one of the most sturdy, well made pieces of furniture I have ever owned. The craftsmanship is really exquisite. There are a few small things that I won’t reveal but that you will find out and when you see these things you will say to yourself, now I know what he meant. There are small details that didn’t have to be added but were, little things that make it truly a high-end piece of art, in my opinion, both visually and tangibly.

So why am I parting ways with my beloved apothecary dresser? I am about to embark on an adventure on the sea, yes I am purchasing a sailboat and sailing off into the sunset. I wish there was a spot on the boat for this dresser and I probably could find one if I tried really hard but instead I would like to pass her on to someone else who will cherish her as much as I did.

This piece is in immaculate condition, very well taken care of, never bumped and bruised, she has had a very clean life. Perhaps the fact that she is red and not blue won’t deter the new owner from thinking of the sea and salty air from time to time when they open a drawer.
